Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using LoupeLens ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

LoupeLens is a mobile application that provides camera magnification with integrated torch lighting. The App allows you to:

  • Use your device's camera with adjustable zoom up to 10x
  • Control torch brightness for illumination
  • Capture and save photos and videos to your device

Medical Disclaimer

LoupeLens is not a medical device. The App is intended for general inspection purposes only and should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

If you have health concerns, consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not rely on the App for medical decisions. Images captured with the App are not intended to replace professional medical examination or imaging.

Subscriptions and Payments

LoupeLens offers an annual subscription that provides access to all features. By subscribing:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings

All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Use the App to capture images of others without their consent where required by law
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features of the App

Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Lemanse Oy and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Photos and videos you capture using the App belong to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lemanse Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App
  • Any decisions or actions taken based on images captured with the App
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of your device

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
